Day 2

Today I got to the store a few times. I don't have much time to spend there with all my other obligations. I started my day cutting some drywall and picking up a sink at Lowes.

We found a live outlet and had to cap it off for now.

I took the kids out in the afternoon and they sanded a little. They didn't sand much since we forgot the dust masks.

(It is not on but don't tell him)

Putting them to work young.

After the kids were in bed I went back up and added some paint becuase I wanted to add some paint!

I oredered some aprons and easels. I also got some tax info in from the state and have my federal tax number. Internet and phone are coming in next week. Need to get some signage and am looking at companies for accepting credit cards. The list goes on and on! I am tired.

  1. Wow! Congrats! You're at a stage, where I can give some practical advice. When you get your federal tax ID, register your business name with the county and/or state. Take both of those documents to the bank. I learned that many banks are not allowed to open business accounts because of fraud. I had to go with Chase Bank for my biz acct. I also think Wells Fargo is approved for

    1. Thanks for the information. I didn't realize that not all banks will open a business account. That is actually my next step. I didn't realize that I had been given an IEN number when I changed how my mothers caregiver is paid. Apparently I am her employer but the state does all the paperwork. Odd. So I had that already and didn't know it. I got something back from the state about having access to the state tax system so that they can get my money. Now I am looking for a bank.
